I have always loved horses since I was little. Gene and I roped and had horses when the kids were little. I got Ginger this year. She is young and full of vinegar, but her trainer says she is a quick learner, fast and agile. All those things an old fart like me doesn't need according to Gene. One of these pictures was when I was a young mother, on a horse called lady, and one when I was a little girl in Amarillo, Tx.
They're coming in litters!!
All the kids came home for Thanksgiving and we got our picture with the grandkids. There are two on the way that will be in next years. Gene is holding Austyn Sue, Leah's girl, Lawsyn, Jessie's girl is on the top, then Cade, Brice's boy, JJ, Jason's boy is on the right of Gene sitting, with Madyson, Brice's girl, Hannah, Jason's girl, Braden, Jason's, and Braden is hold Jessica's 4 mo old boy; then me. What a fun holiday.

Last but not least!
Jessica is our baby, but has a family of her own.
Lawsyn Serena is 1 and Brody is due in Sept.
Paul Everett, her husband is a cowboy from Mancos, Co and a great guy. He has a great laugh and smiles alot, even though he doesn't show it in this picture. You better have food around for this
guy. He can eat enough for 3.

Outnumbered?
Brice felt really outnumbered by women until
Cade was born. Well, Adrienne is expecting
again, and Brice better hope it's another boy.
Tinkerbell (the dog) got bitten by a snake last
month, and now they think she must have veins
of gold, cause it cost a small fortune. If it wasn't
for the little princess holding her, she might be in
doggie heaven right now. Madyson is 5, about to
start kindergarten, and Cade is 2. He is either in
a great mood, or real grouchy. There is no in
between, but he's so smart, already knows his
colors and alot of other things.
Who would have guessed?
The start of a great 40 years.
June 7, 1968 started a life that we could never have imagined would be so great. Gene said to me-will you love me if we never have anything but a roof over our heads. I said yes and meant it, and we have barely had that a few times, but those were the best times. Our kids were always happy and never went without the things in life that were important. What a great life we've had, hard times, and good times.
40 Great Years
Good thing there weren't any flies around.
Little Austyn Sue Tarrant has been a long time coming to this family. Momma Leah, and daddy Glen have been so patient waiting for their little Angel. Leah has been parent to hundreds of kids teaching choir at Taylorsville High in Salt Lake for years, winning Utah teacher of the year, and many nominations over the years for teacher of the year. She has been loved, praised and adored as youth come to her for advise, knowledge and respect. I used to watch her play momma when she was a little girl. This is her fondest dream. What a beautiful baby. Congrats Glen and Leah. God blessed your patience.
The Lord has blessed us!!
Glen and Leah have patiently been waiting 10 years for this little angel to come into their family. While waiting Leah has been mother to hundreds of kids as a high school choral teacher in Salt Lake Valley at Taylorsville High. Glen and Leah have been a favorite in their neighborhood and church of all the little (and big) kids because of their overflow of love for youth. This little girl sure is lucky to have parents that love and wanted her so badly.
A Simple Vacation for Two!! HELLO AFRICA
Kudu's to you!!
This is my Kudu. It rated silver on the sci rating system. They call me 3 for 3 in Africa because 35 years ago I shot a deer on the first shot. Got my zebra on the first shot, and dropped the Kudu first shot (of course they had to put him out of his misery cause it didn't kill him.) Don't freak all you animal enthusiasts out there. This is a faster way for the animals to be culled out, so they don't starve. Without hunters in Africa to help the people have an income, they would be poaching to eat and there would be no conservation. All of the animals would be gone. So, I feel good being able to help the conservation of African animals and helping to feed the people.
A new huntress has been born!!
Here we are, all 17 of us!!
The times we get together are amazing. Our family is growing so fast, almost in herds. We are thrilled. Jessica and Adrienne are expecting; Jessica, a boy in September (8), Adrienne, ? we don't know yet, but it will have to be a girl to keep us even, due in January (16). Gene and I never new how much fun it would be to be grandparents. Each one has their own little personality. (Imagine that)
